As we know, drinking water is a necessity, for many reasons: it keeps the largest organ in our body healthy: our skin. It supports proper digestion and elimination; it keeps our cells healthy; it helps with detoxing our body of toxins, and much more.
If you get bored of drinking plain water, why not spice it up with nutrient-dense foods and make it a drink of champion!
- 1 Banana
- 5 large leaves of romaine lettuce
- 2 large handful of spinach
- 3 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 Lebanese cucumber, chopped
- 20 green grapes
- 1 pear, cored and chopped
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1⁄2 bunch of fresh parsley
- 2 cups water (or more if desired)
- ice cubes
Place all the ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth; serve cold and keep the left overs in the fridge!
