20 years ago, if you told me I would be standing on stage in front of a group of people teaching group fitness, I would have said you’re crazy. Shy and introvert – there was no way. But somehow, I did it. And I did it with passion, dedication, and enthusiasm. Only a few years…
I see every new opportunity as a new beginning

One October 26th, 2014, my beautiful maternal grandmother will be turning 101 years old. This inspiring woman, mother of 11, grandmother of 19 and great grandmother of 19 more is filled with gratitude for what life has given her, despite the several challenges which were presented to her through the course of her long life. This is a short story of my beloved maternal grandmother, “grandmère”.
What’s new with me
After five months of preparation for my first marathon, I sustained a stress fracture in the left ankle, only 2 weeks before the race. The training went well, but unfortunately, I was unable to race. Before the injury surfaced, I had also signed up for a 1/2 marathon in the Gatineau Park on November 1st. As a result of my injuries, I am no longer able to run this one either. However, recovery is going very well. I start strength and conditioning for long distance running shortly and am hoping to run my marathon in the spring of 2015 to pursue with ultra marathon later in the fall. Stay tuned for more details!
